Class Listings Improvisation Studio Apprentice Performance New Voices Playwrighting at Walden Theatre Improv
New students usually begin in the Improvisation Class where they learn the basic vocabulary of the theatre through a series of games that teach them to focus, concentrate, listen, think and react. At the end of each term, all perform in a showcase demonstrating the skills they have learned.

After mastering skills in the Improvisation Class, students enter Studio. It is here that students are introduced to written dramatic material. The focus is on character development, scene analysis and movement for the stage.
Once students have reached this level they are encouraged to audition for Walden Theatre productions.
